        The lang/mercury currently in pkgsrc doesn't compile with
        gcc4; it does casts of lvalues.

        cd pkgsrc/lang/mercury && make, on a system with gcc 4.1.2.

>Fix:
        Update to mercury-0.13.
        (Or, alternatively, set it to require gcc3.)
