 FYI: Only NetBSD inside the emulator can use  serial line as console 
 (although without being able to login over the serial  line).  When SunOS uses 
the 
 serial line as the console, SunOS generates  ipl6 errors, similar to how it 
 generated ipl3 errors before the ethernet problem  was fixed (35305).  Maybe 
the 
 emulated serial card needs something like the  35305 solution (setting the 
 multibus card CSR INTR bit).
