>Organization:
>Environment:
NetBSD 3.0 running on 32-bit userland on an ultrasparc 10.
>Description:
TME asserts immediately in fb-xlat-auto.c upon console window creation. If the assertion is ignored, the console window continues and console text appears normally - although the font is poorly rendered and the characters difficult to read.
>How-To-Repeat:

>Fix:
I didn't create a patch to comment out the assertion, because the assertions might be useful running on an Intel/AMD host. And as floating point doesn't work with ultrasparc (problem 35347), it seems best to restrict TME usage to Intel/AMD hosts, but if you're using an ultrasparc, commenting out the assertion seems a reasonable workaround.
