When called with -geometry option, aterm(1) does not set the COLUMNS and LINES 
environment variable correctly which cause software using curses (among others) 
to use only a part of the terminal
>How-To-Repeat:
 - install x11/aterm
 - run `aterm -geometry 100x50' 
 - check the value of COLUMNS and LINES in the opened terminal:
% set | grep -aE 'COLUMNS|LINES'
COLUMNS=80
LINES=24
>Fix:
CVS version of aterm does not seem to have this problem, but 1.0.0, so wait for 
a new aterm version, or isolate the change which changed the behaviour.
