 Looks like problem is "x11" option in 
 pkgsrc/sysutils/mc/options.mk
 
 Replace the:
 .  include "../../mk/x11.buildlink3.mk"
 
 with the .include lines for the libX11 or other libraries or other needed.
 
 Can you try this? and report back?
