        The new patch-ab cause a compile error on NetBSD -current:

        On a NetBSD -current system:

        Removing the patch fixed the problem for me, but this may not
        be the best solution.

        about the purpose of this patch:
Yes, this was for NetBSD 4.0_BETA2. The patch should probably be
conditional on NetBSD version...

        I don't know which error was fixed by this patch on 4.0_BETA2,
        since I have no such system where I could test it.
