It's funny you should mention it right now, since I just found out it
won't build on Slackware Lunix 10.2 either. However, in addition to
building it for the first time, my problem is just a little different:
[snip]
checking for a BSD-compatible install... /usr/bin/install -c -o root -g root
checking whether build environment is sane... yes
checking for gawk... /bin/awk
checking whether make sets $(MAKE)... yes
checking for i386-slackware-linux-strip... no
checking for strip... strip
checking for i386-slackware-linux-g++... g++
checking for C++ compiler default output file name... configure: error:
C++ compiler cannot create executables
See `config.log' for more details.
configure: error: /bin/sh './configure' failed for lib-src/soundtouch
*** Error code 1
Stop.
bmake: stopped in /usr/pkgsrc/audio/audacity
*** Error code 1

bmake: stopped in /usr/pkgsrc/audio/audacity

Note that I'm using g++ from lang/gcc3, which works perfectly for all
other packages.
This was using the 2007Q2 branch updated from CVS a few minutes ago.
Complete make output is available at
http://xs4all.nl/~maribu/devel/NetBSD/misc/pkgsrc-audio_audacity-Sun%20Oct%20%207%2022:32:39%20UTC%202007-make.1.log.gz
(UNIX gzip, 2K).
Should I open a seperate pr for this?

Note: in the process of having an appearant out-of-mind experience, I've
accidentally sent this report to gnats (instead of gnats-bugs) before. You
may delete the other message (or this one), if it gets through.
