>Description:
Building a binary package for mail/balsa results in a complaint
about a missing file (I have PKG_DEVELOPER=yes, as I use pkg_comp
in approx its default config, but this doesn't seem to be a
check_files detected error).
>How-To-Repeat:
I use pkg_comp with libkver and NetBSD 3.0 release sets installed.
When building a binary package for mail/balse I see ...
=> Registering installation for balsa-2.3.10nb11
balsa-2.3.10nb11 requires installed package ORBit2-2.14.10
balsa-2.3.10nb11 requires installed package aspell-0.60.5
(etc)
balsa-2.3.10nb11 requires installed package rarian-0.6.0
balsa-2.3.10nb11 requires installed package xdg-dirs-1.4
ERROR: CONF_FILE /usr/pkg/share/examples/balsa/email.soundlist does not exist.
*** Error code 1
The only other even half way related stuff I see in the
build log is ...
=> Generating post-install file lists
=> Running POST-INSTALL script actions
balsa-2.3.10nb11: copying /usr/pkg/share/examples/balsa/balsa.soundlist to
/etc/conf/sound/events/balsa.soundlist
===========================================================================
The following files should be created for balsa-2.3.10nb11:
/etc/conf/sound/events/email.soundlist (m=0644)
===========================================================================
which is only really interesting as it mentions copying one
file from examples to /etc/conf (which is my PKG_SYSCONFBASE)
but then says the other one (which would correspond to the "missing"
examples file) needs to be created manually.
At the very least that's odd, I'd have expected either all config
files to be installed automatically, or none of them, not half and
half.
