Nope. Configure test succeeds with empty -L because it doesn't use libtool
(wrapper).

Yes, it's coming from libtool. Actually it's even "better" - the problem
is libtool wrapper used by pkgsrc. If /usr/pkg/bin/libtool is used
directly, linking succeeds. But because I've never understood logic/magic
behind this wrapper, I keep myself away from it.
