The problem seems to be that the content has been removed from patch-aa, and 
only a comment remains.  patch is seeing this and throwing back an error.

$PKGSRCDIR/bin/patch is a symlink to gnu-patch (with GNU_PROGRAM_PREFIX=gnu-) - 
is the a NetBSD-specific patch binary which this package was tested against 
which doesn't break on this empty patch?
