I had all pkgs deleted with "pkg_delete -rR \*". During that process, perl 
somehow dumped core in /var/db/pkg/perl-*. Subsequently, pkg_info dumped core - 
apparently it cannot handle malformed/non-standard pkg-db-dir contents.
