 So the problem is caused because 
 glib2's /usr/pkg/include/glib/glib-2.0/glib/gbacktrace.h now includes 
 <signal.h> where it didn't previously causing the error noted here.  If 
 however i also include <signal.h> at the start of threads_posix.cc the 
 probem goes away again???
