Please pull up net/tcpdump to current version 4.0.0. There are at least two 
open PRs concerning tcpdump on Solaris (pkg/37500 and pkg/40203) which have 
both been assigned to solaris-pkg-people. In other words: These PRs are 
stranded, no one is actively fixing them.

tcpdump 4.0.0 fixes the problem mentioned in these PRs.
