Hi Joerg. It hangs at : ftp> close
(b) What version of pkg_install are you using?
# pkg_info -V 20081002 It's straight off 5.0RC1
export PKG_PATH=ftp://ftp.netbsd.org/pub/pkgsrc/packages/NetBSD/$(uname -m)/5.0_2008Q4/All(c) What server are you using?
(where uname -m is i386)Yes, I know I'm running 5.0RC1 and a set of binary packages which isn't entirely up to date (this is because the target machine is only a 233MHz pentium). I shouldn't have thought this would have affected the actual installation of packages, though
Yes - it's using ftp-proxy on a NATed OpenBSD firewall. I presume this is the most likely cause for the problem - it's odd though, because standard FTP works, as does every other FTP program I've seen. Is this a supported environment?(d) Is this behind some strange transparent FTP proxy?
