 Update:
 
 ECL maintainer accepted the thread related fixes upstream although
 there was no release yet, it's only available in CVS.  Moreover, I
 still experience endless loop of ecl_min if built with thread support
 with any >8.12.0 version.  The maintainer suspects this is due to a
 boehm-gc bug, this has to be verified.
