Following installation of print/a2ps on my Apple MacBook, I find that running 
a2ps results in the following:

$ a2ps --medium=letter --borders=yes --columns=2 -X iso1 -R todo-090804.txt
dyld: Symbol not found: _program_name
  Referenced from: /usr/pkg/lib/liba2ps.1.dylib
  Expected in: flat namespace

Note that when I run the resultant binary out of the work directory, the binary 
works as expected.
