 As an additional data point, I'm not seeing this problem on 5.0_STABLE/
 i386 (with a very up to date set of dependent packages) or 5.99.11/
 amd64 (with a state of affairs mostly from mid-May), so it would appear
 that something relevant has changed in NetBSD since that time, or
 there's some sort of local issue.
 
 (On 5.99.11, I do see these other messages though:)
