>Description:
In pkgsrc only erlang>=10.1.9nb1 is listed as "required" for using ejabberd.
ejabberd also runs without expat, but at start logs:
=ERROR REPORT==== 2009-09-08 03:26:39 ===
Error in process <0.3062.0> on node 'ejabberd@localhost' with exit value:
{{case_clause,{error,{open_error,-10}}},[{eja
bberd_app,init,0}]}
And whenever you connect and send any character, it will close connection and
create the log-entry:
=ERROR REPORT==== 2009-09-08 03:33:49 ===
** Generic server <0.2760.0> terminating
** Last message in was {tcp,#Port<0.446>,<<"<?xml version=\"1.0\">\r\n">>}
** When Server state == {state,#Port<0.446>,gen_tcp,none,<0.2761.0>,65536,

>How-To-Repeat:
Just install on a base-system ejabberd as a binary (without having expat
installed before).
>Fix:
Install expat.
