        However, sysutils/gamin depends upon devel/glib2 which in
        turn depends upon sysutils/fam

        I know it is possible to build glib2 using gamin as its fam,
        but that is not the default - it is probably also possible to
        build glib2 without fam at all, but again that's not the default.

        At the very least, this makes binary packages built using default
        options (as for example, the ones on f.n.o should be) impossible to
        include gamin
