 IMO, it is not a role of PKGNAME.
 The solution for PR#23425 is not that lintpkgsrc notice just "need to update 
lsof package",
 but "need to switch lsof package for your new kernel", or pkgsrc allow to use 
mixed package
 for different kernel version.
 For example, add a function to lintpkgsrc (or pkg_chk) for checking OS_VERSION 
in each
 installed package's BUILD_INFO with running OS's OS_VERSION.
