Sorry but I don't like the patch you proposed.
As I said before I think simply removing devel/mk-files makes the most
sense. The pkgsrc/mk stuff and bootstrap are presumably all that pkgsrc
needs. Anyone wanting my mk files, can simpy install mk-20100102.tar.gz
anywhere they want (it is now intended to be standalone) and most
recently tested on a decent sized projct on SunoS, Darwin, Linux, and
*BSD.

Not crazy about that last bit either.
