From what I saw of it when looking at this, I'd certainly agree....
For now, what I think I'll do is see whether simply deleting the -Wall
will allow it to build - compile warnings can be a big help to software
developers, but they're simply wasted when they get as far down the food
chain as I am (and other pkgsrc end users) - mostly that's harmless waste
(which can occasionally be helpful) so I'm not suggesting disabling warnings
in pkgsrc compiles in general, but in this case, it might just help.
