This got cleared up in chat (-lapreq links libapreq.so), and
apparently USE_DESTDIR has been tried and found not to work.
I explained how to revert to the pkgsrc version before the last
update, and this seems to be an adequate workaround for the moment,
but we should get this fixed properly too.
