The bug is not fixed in pkgsrc HEAD as of today (2011-01-09).
 
I still get these xmlto-xsl files in /tmp, which in my case is maybe 
related because I set TMPDIR to /tmp. Otherwise you may see them in 
/var/tmp

The first xmlto-xsl files appreared while building xmlto and then 
as mentioned in this pr while building scmgit-docs.
