 Just to make sure:
 
 mkdir /usr/pkg
 
 fails with EROFS on Solaris if /usr/pkg already exists and the
 filesystem it is on is read-only? If yes, please fill a bug with Solaris
 first as this is a serious POSIX compliance issue.
