Hi, I've just upgraded to pkgsrc 2013Q1 and this bug is still not
resolved. I don't see any load on any processor now. Also I've got lots of:
Apr 3 19:33:03 test snmpd[1478]: sysctl vm.bufmem failed (errno 12)
which prevents me from monitoring memory usage through snmp.
What's the point of releasing next pkgsrc relase and bumping up the
version of snmpd if one doesn't resolve any PRs?
Now I've got 8 CPUS total:
HOST-RESOURCES-MIB::hrProcessorFrwID.196608 = OID: SNMPv2-SMI::zeroDotZero
HOST-RESOURCES-MIB::hrProcessorFrwID.196609 = OID: SNMPv2-SMI::zeroDotZero
HOST-RESOURCES-MIB::hrProcessorFrwID.196610 = OID: SNMPv2-SMI::zeroDotZero
HOST-RESOURCES-MIB::hrProcessorFrwID.196611 = OID: SNMPv2-SMI::zeroDotZero
HOST-RESOURCES-MIB::hrProcessorFrwID.196612 = OID: SNMPv2-SMI::zeroDotZero
HOST-RESOURCES-MIB::hrProcessorFrwID.196613 = OID: SNMPv2-SMI::zeroDotZero
HOST-RESOURCES-MIB::hrProcessorFrwID.196614 = OID: SNMPv2-SMI::zeroDotZero
HOST-RESOURCES-MIB::hrProcessorFrwID.196615 = OID: SNMPv2-SMI::zeroDotZero
but the CPU usage is represented only for the first one:
HOST-RESOURCES-MIB::hrProcessorLoad.196608 = INTEGER: 1
And the discussion about vm.bufmem failed (errno 12) in logs is here:
http://mail-index.netbsd.org/netbsd-users/2013/01/02/msg012263.html
where Jean-Yves Moulin said he sent a patch to the maintainer. Why such
a simple patch couldn't have been included in the next stable release of
pkgsrc?
PS. those two bugs exist on 6.0, 6.0.1, 6.1_RC1 and 6.1_RC2
