I noticed that "mozilla-common.mk" contains:
[...]
# gcc45-4.5.3 of lang/gcc45 does not generate proper binary,
# but gcc 4.5.4 of NetBSD 7 generates working binary.
.if !empty(MACHINE_PLATFORM:MNetBSD-5.*)
GCC_REQD+= 4.6
[...]
IIRC, with firefox18(?) through firefox22 on netbsd-5, lang/gcc46 was
automatically built as a dependency and used, but this time it was not.
Is the above notation supposed to trigger that?
(The comment about gcc 4.5.3 is a bit confusing since that is what
netbsd-6 uses. I take it that netbsd-6 in-tree gcc45 is tweaked over
pkgsrc lang/gcc45?)
