 Note fwiw that Gentoo's emerge is basically pkgsrc written in Python.
 
 Of course, Gentoo has other issues, starting with being Linux... when
 I tried it out for a while some years ago I also found it to be
 annoyingly 133t, but maybe the people responsible have grown up since.
