 This still causes a lot of failures in pkgsrc-bulk and judging from

 and packages.ubuntu.com and packages.debian.org Debian/Ubuntu
 systems need
 
 sudo apt-get install g++-multilib
 
 to get a complete build system. Or pkgsrc has to fix problems with the
 multilib options of anything gcc related.
