 Can you provide some background on the setup?
 
 It sounds like you have a base libstdc++/GCC and a second installed
 libstdc++/GCC and that they are mixed somehow.
 
 There are two gcc/g++s:
 work/.gcc/bin/gcc
 work/.cwrapper/bin/gcc
 
 Do they invoke different compilers?
 
 I don't know much about cwrappers, so to find out, I'll personally use
 some ktrace/strace/dtrace - whatever can tell you which things it's
 opening and executing :-)
 
 As far as I know, other lds won't consider the error mentioned fatal.
