 A simpler way to make it crash:
 
 (gdb) run
 Starting program: /usr/pkg/bin/python2.7 
 Python 2.7.13 (default, Sep  5 2017, 12:03:04) 
 [GCC 5.4.0] on netbsd8
 Type "help", "copyright", "credits" or "license" for more information.
 >>> import hashlib 
 
 ... and it crashes.
