The xfce4 meta package does not include a GTK-3 theme even though meny applications, such as the xfce terminal, require one to work properly. The ressult is that many programs in Xfce have broken themes. (this problem has been persistant in all versions of NetBSD 7)

Install meta-pkgs/xfce4 on a newly installed system. (does the graphics/adwaita-icon-theme include the Adwaita GTK-3 theme..?)
