Re: pkg/54105: openjade crash building pkgsrc/doc/guide
I setup a completely new -current system with -current pkgsrc and
almost empty /etc/mk.conf, as follows:
PKGSRC_USE_SSP=NO
SKIP_LICENSE_CHECK= yes
PKGSRC_USE_FORTIFY=NO
ALLOW_VULNERABLE_PACKAGES=True
Building doc/guide led to a total of 128 packages, which took some
time, but at the end I did not have the crash. Hence, it was most
likely my /etc/mk.conf on the two systems I was receiving the crash.
The only potential relevant mk.conf setting I saw was:
CCACHE_DIR?= /usr/pkg/.ccache
PKGSRC_COMPILER= ccache gcc
in the systems I was getting the crash. So I rebuilt textproc/openjade
with the above settings, which resulted in it crashing during the
build of doc/guide.
I retested this on the two systems with the crash - rebuilding
textproc/openjade without ccache - and the guide was built OK.
So the problem is with ccache, not with openjade per se. I filed
pkg/54134 against it, but as far as I am concerned this one can be
closed.
