>Description:
I use a chroot to build binary pkgs, and do not always start from scratch.
Outside the chroot I usualy remove old pkgs with "pkg_chk -r" and then add
the missing ones via "pkg_chk -ab".
When the binary pkgs repository has various variants of the pkg, pkg_chk
will install the wrong version. Last seen myself with firefox:
With these binary pkgs:
-rw-r--r-- 1 root wheel 45477910 Mar 27 05:23 firefox52-52.9.0nb12.tgz
-rw-r--r-- 1 root wheel 45478396 May 25 07:03 firefox52-52.9.0nb14.tgz
-rw-r--r-- 1 root wheel 45253528 Oct 17 2018 firefox52-52.9.0nb6.tgz
-rw-r--r-- 1 root wheel 45253508 Nov 1 2018 firefox52-52.9.0nb7.tgz
I got firefox52-52.9.0nb7 installed.
