I'm not sure if it's better to open another PR or attach it to this, but
now "mk/checksum/checksum.awk" is also affected:
$ bmake
=> Bootstrap dependency digest>=20010302: found digest-20190127
gawk: /opt/pkgsrc/pkg-hrz/pkgsrc/mk/checksum/checksum.awk:129: warning:
regexp escape sequence `\#' is not a known regexp operator
=> Checksum SHA1 OK for wireshark-3.2.7.tar.xz
=> Checksum RMD160 OK for wireshark-3.2.7.tar.xz
=> Checksum SHA512 OK for wireshark-3.2.7.tar.xz
Again, this is Solaris 11.4, and gawk is
$ /usr/bin/gawk --version
GNU Awk 5.0.1, API: 2.0 (GNU MPFR 3.1.5, GNU MP 6.1.2)
