Dear Nia, thank you for your reply. I've rebuild Profanity from pkgsrc-current, but it still does not work. The default ca certpath is now /usr/pkg/share/mozilla-rootcerts, but it won't work for me with that setting. Profanity does seem to need mozilla-rootcerts-openssl. When I install mozilla-rootcerts-openssl and set Profanitys certpath to /etc/openssl/certs, it works fine. Thank you for your kind attention.
