I'm not sure this is the right thing to do...
What I've just remembered is that shared library number handling on
solaris is by default (within libtool) different to netbsd. The old
libtool had this changed - the new one doesn't.
The question is do we want libtool to do the default thing for Solaris
or the default thing for pkgsrc? The former would mean a lot of
divergence in the PLISTs as you have noted.
