some more comment:

I haven't noticed in commit message of 1.9 which says that
it confilcts with acroread4.  As described above I want the
changes (introducing conflicts) to be backed out.

About WWW browser plugin, I have modified the
phoenix-bin-acroread package to pick the plugin shared
object from its original place.  I made plugin packages of
the acroread3/acroread5 and they are ready to commit.

they are, though, conflict with each other since they have
only one file nppdf.so, same name.
