Minor point.
The patch didn't come from FreeBSD/ports.  It was the patch from our Xfree86 
source tree mentioned in 
http://mail-index.netbsd.org/port-xen/2005/04/05/0002.html plus the second 
part found by me comparing the xfree86 and xorg versions of those files to 
see what else had changed.
