Many minor changes omitted; intermediate changelogs combined.

  - Added read support for DOC, XLS and PPT documents
  - Updated GeoTiff support for new definitions in libgeotiff-1.2.3
  - Added ability to write certain EXIF tags (ie. UserComment) as Unicode
