We may need to clarify this on the pkgsrc-users mailing list description 
which says "This is a general-purpose list for most issues regarding the 
NetBSD Packages Collection (pkgsrc), regardless of platform, e.g. 
soliciting user help for ... using particular packages ..."

I do agree that asking the upstream developers or community is better.
