fyi, below is a list of packages which are going to be purged from the
pkgsrc tree before 2006Q3 branch is cut along with reasons for doing so.

- Mozilla and friends

  www/mozilla
  www/mozilla-bin
  www/mozilla-bin-nightly
  www/mozilla-gtk2
  www/moz-bin-plugger
  multimedia/mplayer-plugin-mozilla
  multimedia/mplayer-plugin-mozilla-gtk2
  multimedia/moz-bin-flash
  multimedia/moz-flash

  No longer developed upstream, notoriously vulnerable, won't ever be
  fixed.  There is www/seamonkey whish aims to be Mozilla suite
  replacement.

- GNU Zebra

  net/zebra

  No longer developed upstream, literally for years.  Vulnerable, nobody
  stepped up to fix it.  Use net/quagga.

- Cube

  games/cube

  No longer supported upstream, contains several security
  vulnerabilities which according to its authors won't ever be fixed.

- Quake 3

  games/quake3arena
  games/quake3arena-demo
  games/quake3server
  games/quake3server-excessive
  games/quake3server-osp
  games/quake3server-ra3
  games/quake3server-ut

  Abandoned upstream, numerous security vulnerabilities which will be
  unlikely ever fixed.
