Dear pkgsrc users,

in mid-August, the directory layout for binary packages has been 
changed, in order to make it easier to find the packages that are best 
for your platform. The rationale for this change can be found at:

     http://www.netbsd.org/docs/pkgsrc/ftp-layout.html#ftp-packages

The canonical location for binary packages is now:

     ftp://ftp.NetBSD.org/pub/pkgsrc/packages/$OPSYS/$ARCH/$OSVER_$TAG

All other directories, especially /pub/pkgsrc/packages/$OPSYS-$OSVER, 
are symbolic links to the canonical locations. They will disappear 
slowly from the system.

Please update your download locations to reflect this change. Sorry for 
any inconvenience, and I hope you like the new layout more than the old 
one. :)
