[Linux] poppler linking error

with pkgsrc-current

When compling print/poppler I get the following error. Tried reinstalling
png and rebuilding poppler.

/usr/bin/ld: /usr/pkg/lib/libpng16.so.16: undefined reference to `inflateReset2@ZLIB_1.2.3.4'
/usr/bin/ld: /usr/pkg/lib/libpng16.so.16: undefined reference to `inflateValidate@ZLIB_1.2.9'
collect2: error: ld returned 1 exit status


Would appreciate suggestions. Stuck badly for latex...
