sysutils/xfm fails to build, binary pkg fails to run

Hello,

I was looking for a file manager to open the folder icon from firefox
and chose xfm.  I wasn't able to build the systuils/xfm package locally,
see a, and the binary package gets stuck, see b, the following message
appears in the window frame
