Thanks.  I got chrome to build and run.

I added in /etc/mk.conf

 > BINPKG_SITES= 			http://cdn.netbsd.org/pub/pkgsrc/packages/NetBSD/x86_64/10.0_2024Q3

then ran,

 $ make clean
 $ make clean-depends
 $ make
 $ make install

felt like the build took 48 hours.
