Re: wip/chromium downloadable binary package?



Thanks Nia for the recommendation. I have copied the 75 version libraries to /usr/pkg/lib and chromium is working again.

I see that 2024Q2 still has icu75:

Major version bumps are a pain, and as a result most vendors only update
packages like ICU about once a year.

If I were you, I'd download and extract the .so from this package,
then drop it in lib/.

On my personal machines, I usually try to keep the last .so version
around after upgrading packages - especially for locally compiled software.
