This is why emulators/vice is still using ffmpeg 4, and it will drop
ffmpeg support in the next release.

(Instead it tries to create screen recordings by running the ffmpeg
command line program and run an audio and a video stream into it, which
has its own problems too because it doesn't go multi-threaded until it
has done blocking reads from both...)
