I hope the suggestions removed the apparent inconsistency in your

If that's the current ultimate goal, I would just press on with

pkgin in firefox

I don't have a good explanation for what caused your pkgdb's
gdk-pixbuf2 package to be ... "incompletely installed".  The
recipe I posted ought to fix that.
