It does not do /that/ much.

It just worked here. RISC OS 4, long filenames, 4 GB IDE disc. Same
negative figures in bb_riscbsd.
I cannot guarantee it will work on your disc. And before I did that
experiment, I backed up everything on the RISC OS part of my disc.
